Spring is in the air! created by Ezra
Chinnock our dog, friend and pet.
Today and yesterday was a sad day for me because I had to give up my Pure German Shepard. All year I kept him good. I fed him, if I knew there was no more dog food for him, i would make out of my way to get him some. I got him as a sweet puppy. He had a funny way of looking at you, in a dopey side way look. Soon he grew too big that he was strong and fearless. Children loved him. He got to be very big that he pushed smaller kids that he didn't mean. He was only a big pup that wanted to play. I thought this big gentle dog that just wanted to play needed a big acreage where he can run free and be with other dogs in a farm to help with herding as he was born to do or some service work. Well today it was time for him to go to his new home. I took him for one last walk today, took our time, sniffing the trails and waiting for me if I got too slow. I thought of talking a picture one last time but then I thought, it'll just make me miss him more. I wonder if he missed me in his big acreage home, I thought today?... because I do and one day it won't hurt so much for I know he his well taken care of and he will look in his new master with that lop sided look. sniff, sniff... Chinook was his name and I loved the dog. So if ever you hear that we Rez folks don't take care of our dogs... well there listening to the wind. Miss you much Chinook, see you in heaven for I asked God to see you someday.

"Except the Lord keep The city, The watchman watches but in vain"
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off. Isa 55:6,11-13
Our Halloween Event 2013-In Memory Kattdogg
Teck Check. Sound and Audio for any event is crucial and this event is like no other held on the Kehewin Indian Reserve every yr and this is 2nd yr running. Friends and Family get together to celebrate Halloween by creating a trail filled with many chambers of goulish adventures in the smoked filled night. We welcome your visit and we do charge a fee for this adventure as it is only done for several nights in the fall. B)))0000000000ooooooo This years adventures welcomed this years many hidden gouls and goblins throughout the trail and were frightened only for a second and laughed out of the experience as there were many repeat adventures. There were many locals available to test out the trail to make sure all the corners were rounded off.
Thanks to Melvin John, Desiree John, Delores Morin, Ezra Bergsma and all Kehewin Youth Volunteers. Kehewtechs Salutes you! for making this fun filled night for the youths and adults that want a laugh and fun night.
RIP- Kaleb Robin Kehewin, Katdogg.
